What is a CRJMC?
A Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check is an Ontario police record check. It can include applicable criminal convictions, absolute and conditional discharges, and outstanding charges, arrest warrants, and certain judicial orders.
It is different from a basic Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. Check with the employer or organization requesting the check to confirm the type you need.

Who is this service for?
Our CRJMC assistance is for Ontario. You may need a CRJMC for an Ontario security guard or private investigator licence application, or because an employer or organization specifically requests this check.
The organization requesting your check determines its acceptance requirements. Let us know what you’ve been asked to provide so we can discuss the appropriate next steps.
What happens next?
- Send a basic inquiry. Tell us your contact details, the service you need, and any deadline.
- Discuss your requirements. We explain the service process, what is included in the advertised price, who issues your check, and how to proceed.
- Follow the application instructions. Identity verification and police-check application steps are separate from this website’s inquiry form.
What should I prepare?
Have the requesting organization’s instructions and your deadline available. We’ll explain applicable identification and application requirements when we respond. Please keep identity documents and sensitive personal details out of the inquiry form.
